Beginners Pasta Making Class

Join us for an immersive and authentic pasta-making experience inspired by the regions of Italy. Guided by Rossella’s chefs, you will learn how to create fresh handmade pasta from scratch, discover the stories behind Italy’s most loved shapes and sauces, and enjoy an afternoon of Italian food, culture and hospitality.

Classes are themed around the regions of Italy so the pasta shape and sauce you make will match the traditions of that region. Perfect for team events, birthdays, couples, friends or group bookings.

About the Class

Your experience begins with a warm welcome and complimentary antipasti on arrival, followed by an introduction to Rossella, our family story, and the traditions of Italian pasta. From the heritage of our vineyard in Italy to Nonno’s ice-cream van, guests will enjoy a fifteen-minute story that sets the tone for a joyful and memorable class.

Our chef will demonstrate how to make fresh pasta by hand. You will learn the classic method of making a well, whisking in your egg or water, and forming a smooth dough. After the demonstration, you return to your workstation to create your own dough with guidance from the chef.

Once your dough is ready, you will learn how to roll, cut and shape pasta using traditional techniques and tools. Guests will then prepare the sauce that matches the regional theme of the day before handing their pasta to the kitchen, where your dish will be cooked and returned to you to enjoy.

Unlimited Prosecco or soft drinks are available throughout the class.
